We call 'Biblio' on the platform a representation of prior knowledge on an innovation topic of interest to the user.
This prior knowledge is a fundamental starting point in an innovation process in order to (i) benefit from the experience of people or companies that have worked on the subject or related subjects (ii) not waste time reinventing already accessible knowledge (iii) bounce back and imagine new directions that will strengthen innovation.
To be useful, this knowledge must be reliable and actionable.
Reliability is guaranteed by the sources of information used: the platform provides access to articles from peer-reviewed scientific journals; to patents published and validated by patent office examiners; to company descriptions curated by specialised companies or by ourselves. All the information accessible via the platform is therefore verified and reliable.
Knowledge becomes actionable when it can be easily used. This is why the platform makes it possible, in addition to finding knowledge, to find the people or companies behind this knowledge and to contact them. It then becomes possible to make full use of this knowledge to develop an innovation: to establish a partnership, to benefit from advice, to source a missing brick (software, hardware), etc.
When setting up a biblio, whatever the type of innovation project, the user of the platform will benefit from several advantages:
- A better understanding of the environment of his/her innovation in order to validate or improve it,
- Find out who the key players are (including potential partners and possible competitors),
- Preparing to connect with those who could play a role in the implementation of the innovation.
