For each query, in addition to the list of experts, the platform generates a list of word suggestions related to the keyword you used in your query.
The suggestions are derived from an automatic textual analysis of the most relevant authors publications. By placing the cursor on a suggested word you will be given access to its Wikipedia definition if it exists, and if necessary other terms related to the word will be suggested. You can save Wikipedia articles in your biblio space by clicking on "Save to Biblio" button.
You can use the suggested words to refine or expand your search. By clicking on the "Action" button next to a suggested word you can:
- refine current search - launch a combined query using the suggested word and your keywords
- search only suggestion - launch a query with the suggested word
- monitor suggestion - monitor a search by allowing the ideXlab platform to periodically launch a query using the suggested word and to send you an email notification when a new document is available. For more information refer to the article "Monitoring queries" article.
- Add to biblio - save a suggested word in your biblio in order to launch a query later. In this case, the keyword is displayed in CAPITAL LETTERS in the biblio box created in "The Biblio" space.
